I get the nicest clients! Although I often find myself telling my brides, “You can’t please everyone” when I see them stressing out trying to make EVERYONE happy on their wedding day, Christine and Sean DID please everyone! SO thoughtful in the planning/entertainment of their little guests. (face painting, balloon twisters, cotton candy, etc. by Patsy’s Entertainment : http://patsytheclown.com
I’ve seen this over and over again…It’s time to put on the dress and nobody knows what to do! Since your seamstress and/or salesperson will most likely not be with you on your wedding day, it only makes sense to have a designated person(s) at your fittings who WILL be with you on your wedding day. Sure, in the end it all gets figured out, but unfortunately by then, precious time has been wasted and unnecessary stress has been added…….I’ve seen buttons popped and zippers ripped…NOT good for you and NOT good for photographs. Ask any past bride and she’ll tell you the same thing…..your wedding day will fly by VERY quickly. You can’t control everything, but be prepared with the things you can. Note: A crochet hook works wonders with tight looped buttons.
Portrait…Glamour… Beauty…Boudoir???? Call it what you like…
What it comes down to is YOU. Everyone has a different reason for wanting a photo session. It may be for a gift for him, or a gift for her…or my favorite is just a gift for yourself. I love weddings, but I realized that often the only day a woman REALLY pampers herself is on her wedding day! What about life AFTER marriage? Sure there’s the family portrait (which is great, and I do that too : ), but what about YOU? So often, we lose ourselves to everyone we love. Well guess what!? We all need a little reminder of how unique we are, how special we are, HOW DAMN HOT WE ARE! As women our lives are so busy juggling many things at once… work, kids, a spouse…and we always put ourselves last! D0 this for yourself, you deserve it. Trust me, you’ll be happy you did : )
Originally from Japan, Kozue & Tomoki were eager to capture “New York Scenes” on their Halloween Wedding. Working with Kozue and Tomoki was a dream come true! We went through the day with no plan and no rules….and I think we ended up with some great shots! Brooklyn Bridge, The Carousel, Graffiti Murals…..PLUS an amazing couple with fun, crazy friends…….definitely a good day!!!
